산케이스포츠 등 일본 언론은 24일 “지난 23일 도쿄 아카사카에서 열린 TBS 일요드라마 ‘겨울의 벚꽃’ 팬미팅에 권상우가 나타나 이 드라마 출연을 알렸다”고 보도했다.
권상우는 이 자리에서 “이 드라마를 보고 초난강씨가 왜 사랑받는 존재인지 알게됐다”며 “일본어로 연기하는 건 처음이라 긴장된다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
권상우는 초난강과 2005년 후지TV ‘SMAP X SMAP’를 통해 인연을 맺었다. 이번 드라마 출연은 초난강의 연기에 감탄한 권상우가 자청한 것으로 알려졌다.
‘겨울의 벚꽃’은 남녀의 안타까운 러브스토리를 그린 멜로드라마로, 최지우가 극 초반 카메오로 출연한 바 있다.
Hallyu star Kwon Sang-woo is appearing as a cameo in the drama starring Kusanagi Tsuyoshi, a member of popular Japanese group SMAP.
According to Japanese press including Sankei Sports, Kwon Sang-woo showed up at the fan meeting of TBS drama ‘Fuyu no Sakura’ on 23rd and notified of his guest appearance on the drama.
Kwon Sang-woo remarked, “After watching this drama, I was able to understand how Kusanagi Tsuyoshi became the beloved actor. I am nervous as it is the first time for me to act in Japanese.”
Kwon Sang-woo became friends with Kusanagi Tsuyoshi through Fuji TV ‘SMAP X SMAP’ in 2005. Kwon Sang-woo is known to have been impressed by Kusanagi Tsuyoshi,’s acting and volunteered to appear on the drama.
‘Winter Sakura’ is a sad love story, and Choi Ji-woo appeared as a cameo in the beginning of the drama.
