극중 백수지만 희망을 잃지 않는 여주인공 조미수 역할을 맡은 이유리는 “이 드라마는 주·조연이 따로 없는 것 같다. 모두 다 인생에서 자기가 주인공이지 않나. 구성원 한 명 한 명이 각자 사연을 갖고 있고, 그것을 조화롭게 그려나가는 드라마라 주인공이라서 드는 부담감은 없다”고 말했다.
얼마 전 인기리에 종영한 KBS ‘엄마가 뿔났다’에서 착한 며느리 영미 역으로 맹활약하기도 한 이유리는 “그동안 여성스럽고 지고지순한 역할을 많이 맡아왔다. 그래서 자기의 생각을 거침없이 표현하고 쾌활한 미수에 대한 기대감이 더 크다”고 말했다.
‘춘자네 경사났네’ 후속으로 오는 17일 첫 방송 될 ‘사랑해 울지마’는 옛 여자가 남긴 아이 때문에 파혼당한 남자(이정진)와 그의 상처를 안아주다 사랑에 빠진 여자(이유리)가 난관 끝에 진정한 사랑을 찾아간다는 이야기를 그린다.

Lee Yuri, who takes the role of main character Cho Sumi, who is jobless but does not lose her hope, said, “I don’t think there is a difference of being a main character and a supporting character in this drama. Everybody is the main character in their own life. All of the characters have their own stories in the drama, so I don’t feel much pressure taking the main role.”
Lee Yuri, who took the role of a nice daughter-in-law Youngmi in the popular KBS drama ‘Mom Is Angry,’ went on to say, “I always took the role of a feminine and quiet woman. So I am looking forward to taking the role of Misso, who is very honest and active in this drama.”
‘I Love You, Don’t Cry’ will be aired starting on the 17th after ‘Chunja’s Celebration’ and it will be about a man, Lee Jungjin, who broke off an engagement and a woman, Lee Yuri, who tries to take care of him and ends up falling in love with him.
