울랄라세션 소속사 울랄라컴퍼니 측은 19일 “박승일이 발라드 앨범 ‘메모리(MEMORY)’ 발매 이전부터 목 디스크 증상을 보여 병원에서 치료를 받으며 활동을 이어오고 있었는데, 갑자기 무리가 온 것으로 보인다”며 “담당 의사의 권유로 당분간 휴식이 필요하다고 판단, 오늘부터 울랄라세션 활동이 어렵게 됐다”고 덧붙였다. 이에 울랄라세션은 박승일이 회복할 때까지 3인 체제로 활동할 계획으로 금일부터 박승일 없이 무대에 오를 예정이다.
소속사 관계자는 “현재로썬 언제까지 휴식을 취해야 하는지 정확히 알 수 없다”며 “치료 결과에 따라 복귀 시기가 결정되겠지만 빨리 회복할 수 있도록 전념을 다 하겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편, 울랄라세션은 지난 6일 디지털 싱글 ‘퐁키(FONKY)’ 를 발표하고 활발한 활동 중이다.

Only 3 members of Ulalasession will work for the time being - Park Seung Il’s cervical disc becomes bad.
Ulalasession’s company, Ulala Company announced that Park Seung Il has showed a symptom of cervical disc even before releasing of a ballad album ’MEMORY’ and have gotten treatment, however it seems that he has taken a toll on his body. He needs break for a while on the advice of his doctor and he can’t work from today.
Ulalasession is planning to perform without him until he recovers.
One person related to the company said “I’m not sure until when he has to rest as of now. In accordance with a result of treatment, the time of comeback will be decided, but we will devote to take care of him.”
Meanwhile, Ulalasession is working actively since releasing a digital single ’Fonky’ last August 6.
