배용준의 소속사인 키이스트 측은 23일 “배용준 씨가 27세의 국내 일반인 여성과 3개월째 교제 중”이라고 밝혔다. 또 두 사람은 수개월 전 지인의 소개로 처음 만났다고 설명했다. 상대방이 일반인인 만큼 예쁘게 봐달라는 당부와 함께 조심스럽게 보호해야 할 부분도 있다는 말로 그 이상의 언급은 하지 않았다.
배용준의 열애 소식은 국내가 아닌, 일본 유력지 닛칸스포츠의 보도를 통해 처음 공개됐다. 특히 이 여성의 한국의 유명 CEO의 딸이며 영어도 유창하게 한다는 설명과 함께 두 사람이 최근 일본에서 데이트를 즐기는 모습도 전했다.
배용준의 열애 인정은 9년만이다. 지난 2004년 뮤직비디오 및 CF감독 이사강과의 결별 이후 단 한 차례도 열애를 인정한 바 없다.

His company Keyeast said "Bae Yong Jun has been dating with a 27 years old woman for 3 months." And also the company explained that they were introduced to each other by an acquaintance. They requested as saying "Since his girlfriend is an ordinary person, Please watch their love lovely." They declined to comment further as saying "Their love needs to be protected."
The rumor of his romance was opened through a Japanese Sports Daily-Nikkan Sports first, not in Korea. It was reported that she is a daughter of a famous CEO in Korea and speaks English fluently with their pictures of dating in Japan recently.
It’s been 9 years that he accepted the rumor of his romance. After breaking up with a director of music video and CF Lee Sa Gang in 2004, he never accepted the rumor of romance.
