자신이 최근 불거진 연예인 성매매 혐의 사건과 관련해 브로커라는 허위 사실을 유포한 일부 누리꾼들 때문이다. 조혜련은 당장 이들 누리꾼을 처벌해달라면서 경찰에 수사를 의뢰했다.
조혜련은 서울 마포경찰서에 사실과 다른 내용이 SNS를 통해 퍼지면서 자신의 명예가 훼손되고 있으니 최초 유포자를 찾아달라는 내용의 수사의뢰 공문을 소속사를 통해 제출했다.
실제 최근 조혜련이 여성 연예인들의 성매매를 자신이 알선해줬다는 허위 사실이 일명 ‘증권가 찌라시’를 통해 확산되고 있다. 이러한 찌라시 때문에 실제 조혜련에게 지인들이 연락이 오는 등 정신적으로 큰 피해를 입고 있는 상황이다. 이 기회에 허위 사실을 처음 유포한 이를 찾아내겠다는 의지를 보이고 있다.
