영화 ‘좋은 친구들’은 신인 감독인 이도윤 감독이 메가폰을 잡고 ‘설국열차’ ‘아저씨’ 등 한국 영화사에 굵직한 작품을 선보여 온 ‘오퍼스픽처스’가 제작을 맡아 2014년 충무로의 떠오르는 기대작으로 관심을 모으고 있는 작품이다.
학창시절부터 친구로 지내온 세 남자의 진한 우정을 그린 영화로, 가족과도 같은 이들이 서로를 위한 선의를 베풀지만 의도치 않은 범죄로 이어지며 벌어지는 갈등과 우정을 그리는 내용이다.
이광수는 세 친구들 중 가장 마음이 여리지만 우정과 의리를 누구보다 중요시 여기는 의리남 민수 역을 맡아 배우 지성과 주지훈과 호흡을 맞출 예정이다.
이에 이광수는 “남자들의 진한 우정을 그린 영화라는 점에 큰 매력을 느꼈고, 시나리오가 너무 재미있어 단숨에 읽어 내려가며 민수 캐릭터에 애착이 생겼다. 최고의 제작진들과 함께 열정적으로 촬영에 임할 예정이니 많은 관심을 가지고 지켜봐 주셨으면 좋겠다”며 캐스팅 소감을 전했다.

Lee Gwang Su confirmed casting of a movie ’Good friends ’strong friendship among men’
A movie ’Good friends’ directed by a new director Lee Do Yun and produced by ’Offers pictures’ that opened blockbuster like ’Snowpiercer’ and ’The man from nowhere’ and many others. It’s an expected movie of Chungmuro in 2014.
The story of this movie is about strong friendship among 3 men who are friends since school days. They are like a family and have good will, however crime happened. The movie shows conflict and friendship among them.
Lee Gwang Su’s role is the most tenderhearted, but he makes much of friendship and loyalty other than people. He’s playing with an actor Ji Sung and Ju Ji Hoon.
Lee Gwang Su gave his impressions as saying "I was fascinated with a story about strong friendship of men. And as the scenario was so interesting, I read it in one sitting and I had affection for the character of Min Su. I’m planning to play with the best staff impassionedly, so I want you to have interest and keep an eye on me."
