방송인 이의정이 KBS 2TV ‘비타민’에 출연해 뇌종양 투병기를 고백해 화제다.
13일에 방송되는 ‘비타민’에서는 전 세계인구의 90%가 시달리고 있다는 지긋지긋한 통증 두통에 대해 알아보는 시간을 가졌다.
이날은 특별히 다른 질환의 신호가 되는 몸의 위험한 경고 두통에 대해 이야기 했는데, 지난 2006년도에 뇌종양을 진단받아 모두를 놀라게 했던 이의정도 뇌종양 전조증상으로 두통을 느꼈다고 고백한 것.
최근 녹화에서 이의정은 “평소에는 가벼운 두통이어서 대수롭지 않게 생각했는데 어느 날 촬영하다가 갑자기 극심한 두통이 오더니 쇼크로 쓰러졌다. 병원에 가보니 뇌종양이라고 했다”며 당시의 긴박했던 상황을 설명했다.
이의정은 “두통은 가벼운 통증이지만 절대 무시해서는 안된다. 특히 편두통이 심하다면 반드시 정밀검사를 받아보아야 한다”며 두통으로 고생하는 시청자들에게 당부의 메시지를 전했다는 후문이다. 한준호 기자

Lee Eu Jung explained that urgent situation and said "It was a light headache usually, so I ignored. One day I felt an intense headache while I was doing a fil, and then I fell down with shock. I was diagnosed with a brain tumor."
Lee Eu Jung passed along a request to viewers who are struggling from a headache as saying "Although it’s a light headache, do not ignore it. Especially if you have an intense migraine, you must get a thorough medical checkup."
