동호는 10월 국내에서 발표 할 유키스의 새 앨범부터 팀에서 탈퇴하며 당분간 연예활동 휴지기를 갖는다. 동호는 올해 초 연예활동에 대한 의지가 약해졌다는 뜻과 체력적으로 본인의 건강상태가 가수생활에 적합하지 않다는 뜻을 소속사에 밝혀왔으며, 소속사는 동호 본인과 동호의 부모님과 함께 오랜 시간 상의 끝에 동호의 뜻을 받아들이기로 힘든 결정을 내렸다.
또한 동호는 소속사에 오랜 시간동안 유키스 멤버로 활동함에 있어 시간이 지날수록 자신의 성격상 연예인으로서의 생활에 적응하는데 고충이 있었다고 털어놓으며 연예인의 신분이 아닌 일반인으로서 평범한 삶을 살고 싶다고 전했다.
법적 분쟁이나 사건, 사고, 계약종료와 같은 형태가 아닌 개인의 뜻과 소속사의 합의에 따라 팀 하차를 하는 경우는 전례 없는 드문 일이다.
유키스는 예정대로 오는 10월 말 한국에서 새로운 음반으로 컴백을 진행할 것으로 보인다.

Dong Ho leaves from U-KISS, and stops in the entertainment business provisionally.
NH Media announced officially last October 16 that Dong Ho of U-KISS will stop in the entertainment business provisionally. Dong Ho will not work from a new album that will be released in October in Korea, and he will be away for the time being.
Dong Ho said to his company that his will to work in the entertainment business became weak and his health isn’t fit to work as a singer at the beginning of this year. His company accepted his decision since they discussed it with him and his parents for a long time.
Dong Ho also opens his heart that his character wasn’t fit to adopt the life as a celebrity as time went on. He wants to return to his normal life as a simple man.
It’s a rare case to leave from a team by the personal opinion and mutual agreement not cases like a legal battle, accident and contract termination.
U-KISS will come back with a new album at the end of October in Korea as planned.
