최근 쌈디와 결별한 레이디제인은 이별의 아픔을 딛고 본업인 가수로 복귀하며 활동을 재개한다.
레이디제인의 실제 경험담을 노래한 ‘일기’는 지난 2001년 혼성듀오 캔디맨의 1집 앨범 타이틀곡이자 영화 ‘신라의 달밤’ OST로 널리 알려진 곡. 지금까지 꾸준히 사랑받는 트리플스타일의 모던 록 장르로 레이디제인만의 스타일로 재편곡한 리메이크 곡이다. 레이디제인은 ‘일기’를 통해 한 층 여성스럽고 성숙해진 보컬과 기교 없는 담담함을 표현했다.
또한 ‘하루에 하나씩 너의 따스함을 잊어내고 하루에 하나씩 고마웠던 일도 지워’의 노랫말처럼 레이디제인의 이별 후의 솔직한 마음이 담겨있어 대중들의 마음을 울릴 것으로 보고 있다.
한편, 레이디제인과 사이먼디는 지난 5월 결별했다.

Lady Jane, singer, opened a digital album 'Diary' last September 5. She broke up with Simon D recently and resumed as a singer recovering the pain of parting.
‘Diary’ is her real experience and a title song of mixed duo Candy Man's first album in 2011. It was widely known as OST of the movie 'Kick the Moon'. It's a modern rock genre that has been loved constantly so far and remake as a Lady Jane own style.
Lady Jane expresses much more feminine and mature vocal and untactful and calm voice. She expresses candid mind after breaking like lyrics "I forget your warmth once a day, I erase the memory of gratitude once a day". It seems that it touches the public.
Meanwhile, Lady Jane and Simon D had split last May.
