백지영은 쇼케이스에서 새 싱글 앨범을 소개하고 히트곡인 ‘총 맞은 것처럼’, ‘시간이 지나면’, ‘싫다’ 등과 OST로 많은 사랑을 받았던 ‘그 여자’, ‘잊지말아요’ 등을 일본어로 부를 예정이다. 특히 많은 일본인들이 애창곡으로 손꼽는 ‘사랑 안해’ 역시 일본어로 선 보일 예정이다.
백지영의 일본 유통사 테이치쿠 관계자는 “그룹이 대세를 이루는 일본 K-POP 시장에서 여성 솔로 아티스트로의 일본 데뷔는 매우 드문 케이스지만, 이미 한류 팬들 속 침투도는 놀라울 정도이며, 수 많은 유명 한국 드라마가 일본에서 뜨거운 사랑을 받고 있고 OST 역시 많은 사랑을 받고 있다. 특히 인기 드라마의 OST를 가창한 백지영은 발라드에서는 유일무이한 존재로 평가받고 있다”고 밝혔다.

Baek Ji Young, sold out immediately for her showcase in Japan, Being unique in ballad.
Baek Ji Young launched ‘a green flare’ in Japan as he showcased ’Baek Ji Young PREMIUM NIGHT’ held in Akasaka Blitz with a sold out record since its release on May 1.
She is going to introduce her new single album and sing hit songs ’Like I’m gunned’, ‘After this time’, ‘I hate’ ‘The woman’ ‘Don’t forget’ etc in Japanese at a showcase.
She will also sing ’I don’t love’ which is loved especially by a lot of Japanese in Japan.
The person connected a distributor of Japan, Teichikiu said “This is a very rare situation that a female solo singer becomes popular in general trend of group in the Japan K-POP market, but the degree of permeation into the fans of Korean wave is surprising.
A lot of famous Korean dramas have been loved in Japan and these include their OST’s. Baek Ji Young who sang OST of popular drama has received the review of being a unique person in ballad.”
