소속사측은 “지난 2일 서울의 모 부대에서 위문공연을 가진 걸스데이가 장병들의 열광적인 환호속에 공연을 마쳤다”고 밝혔다.
특히 군 장병들은 ‘기대해’의 안무인 ‘멜빵춤’과 노래를 모두 따라해 걸스데이 멤버들조차 놀라게 했다는 후문. 장안의 화제를 불러모으고 있는 걸스데이의 ‘멜빵춤’은 장병들사이에서 이미 군인들이 착용하는 엑스반도를 이용한 ’엑스반도춤’으로 응용할 만큼 큰 인기를 모으고 있는 것으로 알려졌다.
걸스데이는 “군인 분들의 환호성과 사랑에 오히려 걸스데이 멤버들이 큰 위안과 힘을 얻고 왔다"며 "앞으로도 대한민국의 모든 군인들이 즐거워하고 힘이 될 수 있는 그날까지 열심히 활동하겠다”고 소감을 밝혔다.

Girlsday is working with first album title song ’Expect’ and becoming popular at a military camp.
Their company told "Girlsday finished to put on a show receiving fervent response from soldiers at one military camp in Seoul last April 2"
Girlsday members were surprised because soldiers sang along even their ’suspenders dance’ of ’Expect’.
‘Suspenders dance’ of Girlsday is becoming the talk of the town. It’s becoming popular in military camp as much as they apply it into ’load-bearing equipment dance’.
"We drew comfort and strength from cheers and love of soldiers. We’ll do our best until all soldiers in Korea are happy and we become their strength", Girlsday gave their impressions.
