영화 ‘7번방의 선물’이 ‘과속 스캔들’의 기록을 넘어 역대 한국 코미디 영화 흥행 1위에 올랐다.
영화의 투자배급사 뉴(NEW)는 17일 정오 기준으로 영화가 누적관객수 865만8천277명을 기록했다고 밝혔다. 영화진흥위원회 영화관입장권 통합전산망 기준으로 영화는 16일 46만4032명의 관객을 모으는 등 흥행열기가 여전히 뜨겁다.
‘7번방의 선물’은 ‘과속스캔들’(824만4423명), ‘디워’(842만6973명) ’국가대표’(848만7천894명)를 단숨에 제치고 한국 영화 역대 흥행기록 8위에 등극했다. 코미디 영화로는 최고 흥행작이다. 특히 지난해 1000만 흥행을 달성한 ‘광해, 왕이 된 남자’와 비슷한 흥행추이를 보이고 있어 ‘7번방의 선물’이 2013년 첫 1000만 영화가 될 가능성이 높아졌다.

’A gift of room 7’, already reached 8.65million audience, and is ranked number 1 in the Korea comedy movie of all time beyond ’Speed Scandal’
Film investment and distributor, NEW announced that total attendance at this movie ’A gift of room 7’ has topped 8,658,277 based at noon on 17.
This movie attracted an audience of 464,032 based on theater ticket computer network of Korean Film Council on 16 and people still have a lot of interest in watching this movie these days.
’A gift of room 7’ is ahead ’Speed Scandal’(8,244,423), ‘The War’(8,426,973), ’Member of the national team’(8,487,894) at one burst and is ranked number 8 in the Korea movie of all time.
This is one of the biggest box-office successes in Korean comedy movie.
It has produced similar success as ’Gwanghae, the man being a king’ whose success reached 10million last year, so ’A gift of room 7’ may be the first 10 million movie in 2013.
